1. No purchase necessary to enter any sweepstake/giveaways on this website/blog. The giveaway will open and end on the date stated in the individual posting. The opportunity to enter may be affected by local ability to access the Internet at any particular time. The odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Winner will be randomly selected from a drawbox containing all entries gathered by the date and hour identified on the sweepstake posting.
2. Open to US residents, eighteen years or older, who are legally allowed to participate in such a giveaway/sweepstake as allowed by their local laws. Prize will be clearly identified in the sweepstake post. One prize available per sweepstake. Winner will be contacted within twenty-four hours of the sweepstake’s closing. If winner did not provide a contact address, then after their name is announced as a winner the winner will be expected to contact the blog owner (either by leaving another comment or using the contact form provided on the right of the blog) within forty-eight hours. Also within the forty-eight hours following entrant being announced (notified if information is provided) the winning entrant must then provide necessary information, which may include e-mail/Kindle account and/or US postal addresses (if these have not already been provided) for the delivery of his/her prize, as well as answer a skill testing math question. Failure to do so will result in another entrant being randomly selected from the same drawbox and the prize redirected to the new winner.
3. Entrants must submit the entry required for each giveaway in order to qualify for a chance to win. Inappropriate comments will be subject to removal by blog owner, Deirdre Lockhart, and disqualified from the sweepstakes. As previously stated, winner will be contacted within twenty-four hours of the sweepstake closing and identified in a comment left by the blog owner on the sweepstake post. Limit one entry via comment per person per sweepstates per week. (In this case a week will be considered Friday through Thursday since WritersOnReading interviews are posted on Fridays). If an additional entry is offered for a social media share, only one extra entry per person per week will be accepted. Thus an entrant will be permitted no more than two entries per week. Blog owner is not responsible for: incomplete, lost, late, damaged, scrambled, or misdirected entries or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, or electronic, which may limit a user’s ability to participate in the giveaway.
4. Blog owner and immediate family members are not allowed to enter the giveaway. Void where prohibited by law. All Federal, State, and local laws and regulations apply.
5. Prize(s) will be assigned to those who have been identified as winners and have complied with the rules stated here. One prize will be given away for each sweeptstake unless sweepstake closes with no entrants or doesn't reach the number of entrants specified on the original blog post. Sweepstake winner will be identified in a comment on the post where the sweepstake was explained.
6. Winning entrants will be informed within twenty-four hours of the sweepstake/giveaway closing of their win and, if more than one sweepstake is running, will be informed exactly what prize has been won. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Blog owner assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages, losses, or injury resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize. All prizes will be sent within two weeks of announcement of winner.
7. Entering the sweepstake/giveaway is considered a confirmation of eligibility on behalf of the entrant in accord with these rules and any pertaining local/Federal/International laws.
8. Interviews are conducted by the blog owner unless otherwise stated. No recompense is offered, given, or received for conducting these interviews or offered for my opinions expressed on them. Any opinions I have expressed are my own, and likewise (to the best of my knowledge) the opinions expressed by the interviewees are their uncompensated opinions. Should this change any time in the future, I will disclose it in accordance with the FTC Regulations.
